A lively, colorful, very simple dish that can be made with any kind of raw vegetables.
It can be served serving vegetables in one only salad bowl placed at the centre of the table, from which each diner can pick the crudité to dip in his/her personal Truffle Caesar Sauce.
Sharing moments with friends and relatives in an easy way and with lot of taste.
The Chef’s suggestion: The crudité dips must be made with very fresh and tender vegetables.
The Chef’s eco-suggestion:Wash all vegetables under running water in a large bowl and then the discarded water for your garden flowers and plants.
How to cut the vegetables.
1) BELL PEPPERS
Cut the bell peppers in half and remove inner fibers and white parts. Cut the bell pepper edges so to make the halvesregular, then cut them in strips.
2) RADISHES
Remove the radishleaves cutting themat the base, then wash the radishes under current water.
3) CARROTS
In case you prefer to discard the carrot skin, peel them with a regular potato peeler and then cut the edges.Cut carrots in parallel slices and then split them in sticks.
4) ONIONS
Remove the external skin and the hardest parts of the onions, thencutthem in half. Take the halves one by one, putting them on the chopping board placed on their stable part. Cut the onions in thin slices, approximately 2mm thick.
5) CELERY STALKS
Make a small cut at the base of the stalk and the proceed removing leaves and green fibers.Discard the hard light colored part of the stalk too.Cutit in sticks, longwise.
6) COCUMBERS
Cocumber skin is a little bit tough and slightly bitter, but definetly edible.If you prefer not to eat it, remove it in stripes using a potato peeler.Cutcocumbers in long sticks perfect for dips.
7) TOMATOES
Cut tomatoes in half using a sharp knife. Put the halves on the chopping board upside down and then cut them in half and again with vertical cuts so to obtain slices about 1cm thick.
Method
Once all vegetables are cut, lean them on a serving plate large enough to easily accomodate them all, then serve with our super-fresh Truffle Caesar Sauce.
